☂Not that anyone will actually see this, but you might or might not have gotten the reference above...anyway. Please do note that this online journal has been fighting the battle of neglect and time, often on the losing end, and really does feel like some sort of blue elephant that one's got to keep somewhat alive. For the sake of tradition, I suppose. (K) Yuan here. linkageblue birds flap fandoms + happiness + the lot where the ego centersit's all quite narcissistic, really. |
Date: <$BlogDateHeaderDate$> I'M A BELIEVERI'm getting bored of this skin, and that's even before I finished editing the stuff lol. Not that that's taking a short while either. :P Wah moose the weather's bloody hot today. The fan's doing no good and I just finished a litre bottle of orange cold juice. Luckily I'm going out soon to get new rollerblades and a school-needed book. Oh and I do have a few things to announce: One, I GOT MONK SEASON 2 ON DVD YESTERDAY!! :D At the Grand Cathay beside SOTA when Waj went to hand up her worksheet (only to find the office closed lol). Alhtough later we went to Lot One's new/renovated DVD shop while waiting for Audrey (whom I didn't get to see yesterday *-) ) and we found one that was ten dollars cheaper and had more features. (AIYOOOOO) :P OHOH and that shop had ALL THE SEASONS, including the eighth (and final D:) season which wasn't/isn't out in Singapore the last time we checked. AND WE MANAGED TO RESERVE THE FIRST ONE!! :D It's really hard to find and it's the least likeliest season to rerun on any channel (not that I'll have any of that on my cable box -___-). OH and by the way Monk season 8 is STILL SHOWING on FoxCrime! :D Waj got her parents to subscribe to it yesterday and discovered that it shows about a dozen times a a week and was squealing over the phone. Shs's determined to catch every episode lol. SO LUCKY her parents can understand/like Monk and fetishes like that. MFY would be scoffing and blahs. But anyway. Oh we did spilt the season dvds between us though. I got the second part but we agreed not to watch them until I got to her house sometime next week. (then WHAT'S THE POINT OF KEEPING IT WITH ME?!?? D: *-P ) Still hoping my grandparents would give me some money when they come on the 24th. (YES THEY'RE COMING (Y) ) (though they'll be going for a lot of walks which, according to MMY's reasoning, is why I need new rollerblades. So I can walk more excitingly lol) That makes me sound a desperately broke gambler or summat like that. 8D Though I am rather broke. And the Chinese currency fell so I'll be getting lesser money than calculated if I convert it now. (It used to be more... D:) Besides the Monk seasons I'm planning on buying Fringe seasons (SEASON 2 IS OUT AND EVERYWHERE AND VERY EXPENSIVE) and making Wajja watch it. :D SHARING THE LOVE, YO! B-) Okay, now onto two. I got the subject combination I wanted(BIOLOGY-CHEMISTRY + PURE LITERATURE-ELECTIVE GEOGRAPHY :D) and I got into the group going for service learning next year! :D Not as big and exciting as the first one but yeah, this might mean that next year's gonna be slightly better than this one, school-wise. :) And I'm dreaming of going somewhere nice and cold and with children in need like Nepal. Or Africa, though I doubt it's cold there. But they do have organizations like Doctors Without Borders or summat like that operating there and it would be absolutely wonderful if we could go visit them :D AND WE'LL BE DOING MORE CIP, not 85% sightseeing because the teachers don't want to break our delicate viewpoint of the world having not-that-much poverty. -__- Though still not very keen on my new classmates. Couple of my classmates from this year (the nicer ones) are in class next year so... yeah. I guess we'll just have to see. :) Cheers! KJ P.S I'm getting bored of my "format". Come to think of it, I'm getting bored of everything, hawheh. B-) P.P.S I started reading some Stephen King books. So far, he's goood. 8)

794 year old tea-drinking oddity, decidedly mature and child. Vaguely thespian, Singapore, girls' school foundations. Writes a bit and pretends a lot. Floats in brillance from people like Regina Spektor, Damien Rice, Keane, Lisa Hannigan etc. Agnostic pantheist, and very married to Benedict Cumberbatch. Liberal + feminist, i guess. Books are eternal, and Indian+local literature is lovely. Considerably fond of all things geek, elephant, and astronomy. Also an absolute fangirl/shipper of all things BBC Sherlock, Granada Holmes, Doctor Who, Simon Amstell, Catherine Tate, Jeremy Brett and canonical Holmes.
I sleep a lot and like the English a bit too much. (as evident)
