the shatter of earth's collapse

"Hello sweetie."

Not that anyone will actually see this, but you might or might not have gotten the reference above...anyway. Please do note that this online journal has been fighting the battle of neglect and time, often on the losing end, and really does feel like some sort of blue elephant that one's got to keep somewhat alive. For the sake of tradition, I suppose.

blue birds flap fandoms + happiness + the lot where the ego centers

it's all quite narcissistic, really.

utopia's oversight, musings, june hols.

Adapting is a skill that one learns, in order to survive.
Adaptation is a war, in which pride does come with destruction and conquest.
Take away the crusade/ stop changechanging,
and one loses the war
to a blameless, absent victor.

Death has almost a default position on the 'negative' side; it's almost as if death = negative is an objective truth, and honestly, it's unfair. Death is natural, and an essential part of the ecosystem which we are part of. The world, the universe is better off without human beings, really. No one to mind the universe no one to kill and moan and have an ego and love and weep and make a mess out of every thing it touches no one to even care that humanity won't exist.

I mean, it's all the mess and mistakes, or nothing.

////
only in the struggle for equality are we human, and being human is all we really exist for, isn't it?

Last day of school today + start of holidays, joy.
(the definition of holidays is very loose here.)

Went out with Saj after the 3 hours of theatre that is school for today (lovely timetable hehg :D) after she finished her ARC journal entry and handed it in, by which time we were already 5 minutes late for The Avengers at wmall. Waited long for a cab, took a cab, got lunch (me), bought tickets and went in 30 minutes late. It was a good movie, epic and all, and Loki's horns are highly amusing. (Asgard.ian.)
Anthropocentrism, absolute disregard for property and price of property, gender inequality (the 'female lead' was good though, and equal in badassery, i should say.), blah blah and overall very much American.
(don't get me wrong, it was a good movie, i'm just being mean and picky.)
Food got taken away at checkpoint (*glares*), ate afterwards. Saj left for home, leaving me with 15 dollars less in my meagre bank account from the cab (seriously i do not know how she is ever going to survive when she goes out into the world and lives alone or summat she would be in Greek-debt within month i swear) Mother picked me up, went to supermarket, etcetera, boring things, came home, decided to do ARC before remembering the urgency of IRE and interview questions (hi Miss Lee) and i get distracted as usual and here I am.

June hols.
Gonna start planning the days later, I have loads to catch up on and finish, academics and all, the former of which would probably take up 94% of my time since I've got crap grades and I actually want to get promoted to Year 5 next year. (also the university portfolio starts here.)
When I say this, I actually have hope of me getting things done within this time, instead of my usual holiday lifestyle.
(wake up at noon, eat, watch shows til dinner, eat, think about doing work, watch more shows, sleep; repeat)
I mean, my grades are comparatively okay but in all honesty getting anything below 60 at this point is a very good sign of how badly you're going to a) not go to Canada at the end of the year b) not get into university with your IB diploma. And since last minute mugging won't actually give you those lovely 60s and 70s and 80s I better truly buck up, starting with my lifestyle and attitude. (focus dammit)

Which this blog post is not helping with.
alright buggering off now
